Driveway Wall & Gate Reinstatement Following Impact Damage

Introduction

We undertook repair and reinstatement works to a residential driveway boundary wall and gate following damage caused by a vehicle impact. The project involved a combination of masonry repairs, foundation replacement, external rendering, painting and specialist metalwork repairs to restore the affected area to its original pre-damage condition.

The project

Works included site protection, material storage, waste removal and preparation of the required Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan.
The damaged wall and foundation were removed and rebuilt using new concrete and blockwork. Original coping stones were reinstated and adjoining pathway damage repaired.
A K-Rend system, stabilising primer and a paint finish were applied to match the existing wall.
The damaged gate and post were repaired off-site and refitted following completion of the wall works.

The project brought together several specialist trades to repair the vehicle-damaged wall, pathway and driveway gate. Through coordinated masonry, rendering, painting and metalwork repairs, we aimed to restore the property’s entrance to its original condition while ensuring the new finishes complemented the existing boundary wall.
